This is a KEEPER and be sure to read it through. Her thoughts and suggestions are excellent and timeless. You won't be disappointed!! Love yourself more stress less is different than any other book I've read on stress and I've read them all over the last few years.
I suffer with depression and some health issues.
I already take supplements but because I have allergies, I plan to try some of her recommendations of using less chemicals, especially spray cleaners, perfumes, etc.
I also plan to print out the foods that are bad for me and start eliminating some of those to see if I feel better. It's worth a try. It's the first time I've seen these particular food lists.
This is the first book I've read on stress that is uplifting and left me full of hope.

I discovered this book recently. I started to read selected portions but soon found myself reading the text word for word. The information presented in these pages is insightful, practical and to the point. In present time when many of us are experiencing new challenges, I found this book to be very helpful. I found this book to be an easy read. I know I will be using it frequently as a reference book to many different problems with family and friends. I have and still use her recommended supplements. They have allowed my husband to be here 7 years longer than the doctors predicted and hopefully many years to come. They help me to be healthy to deal with my husbands illness. I can't say enough about supplements and minerals, and I would highly recommend the book to anybody who finds stressful situations unbearable. I found that I use many of her recommended solutions, but I also found areas where I could use some work. I am a work in progress and this book helps anyone in any situation to better control yourself and stress. I have already recommended the book to many co-workers friends and family. I believe if everybody on this planet took her approach to stress there would be a lot less suicides, domestic violence, and all of the other ugly that stress can cause. I truly felt a sense of empowerment after reading this book and as I mentioned before I will use it as a reference when dealing with different stressful situations. I would also like to thank Jill A. Sanders for writing such a helpful book written in easy to understand language. Bless You!!!
Jill brings body, soul and spirit into this book to speak to her vision of who we are, what hinders us and what helps us grow into healthy, interconnected people. Where a facet suffers, she points out possible reasons and how one can overcome the shortcomings or roadblocks that prevent us from enjoying our lives in body, soul and spirit. She speaks with the background of a health professional or spiritual leader, yet she makes it clear that her knowledge is based on her own research and experiences. She appeals to the spiritual yearnings, yet does not restrict her guidance to any specific religion.

She provides a model of health (live without stress) with body, soul and spirit in each of us and a foundation of how all elements are interconnected (animal, vegetable, mineral, etc.). She delivers her guidance in three main sections and breaks these into short chapters (e.g., she discusses how anger and guilt can create negative energy). She shares with the reader a vast knowledge of people (a long career working with distressed families)and the obvious years of research and practice in psychological and spiritual matters as well as her broad knowledge of food, vitamins, supplements and how they affect us.

A section that most intrigued me was the author's discussion of how some foods can hurt us and some can help us (acidic vs. alkaline) and how some dietary supplements can correct, in some cases and over time, physical ailments. She provides an appendix of food choices that illustrates her guidance. This book is very helpful in its attempt to encompass all aspects of who we are to show us how to live in peace and with positive and healthy bodies, souls and spirits.
